Burton Wills completed The Digital Engine course in the Fall of 2022 creating her website The Puppurr. Her lifestyle blog was full of fun content amount her dog Maggie, cat Phoebe, and her dog sisters Schnapse and Hans. Some fun fact about Burton:
🐾 She is obsessed with the Friends tv show and named her cat after the iconic Phoebe Buffay.
🐾 Coffee is her love language, and Maggie also benefits since she loves car rides and gets a Pup Cup every time they go to Starbucks.
🐾 If you ever need a dog groomer in the Nashville area, look no further! Schnapse and Hans, mostly only Hans, lets her practice her skills on them routinely.
Simply put, Burton loves anything and everything to do with pets and animals. Burton was one of the highest-ranking websites in the class because her content was incredibly engaging, and she stayed consistent with her editorial calendar. When describing her experience with The Digital Engine, Burton states:
“The Digital Engine requires hard work and dedication, but the experience leaves you with a valuable set of skills. The text, paired with the live practicum, provides a high level of insight, building self-confidence to run a successful digital marketing campaign.”
We encourage you to check out her social media pages she built as part of her course experience. All students are required to post on a minimum of three social media platforms, but Burton went above and beyond with her platforms, engaging participants on a near daily basis. Needless to say, Burton did a fantastic job with her semester practicum and earned every bit of her DE Certification. And even more impressive, graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s in business administration. Burton made the Dean’s list every semester and was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award for General Business. Currently, Burton is open to work.
