Lauren Allen quickly learned to manage a successful lifestyle blog in the field of fashion and beauty in just one semester of being a student of The Digital Engine. Lauren jumped into her project and became immersed in the process of building her website The LA Style, writing blog content, creating social platforms and starting her email campaigns. After completing the course, Lauren landed an internship at James and Abel Boutique of Nashville, TN as a Social Media Marketing Specialist. A few interesting things about Lauren is:

  • I LOVE the beach, working out, the color pink, coffee shops, going on walks, buying new things, desserts, decorating, and skiing!
  • I have always been passionate about fashion and beauty, literally since I was a little girl. I would tell my mom or grandma what they should or shouldn’t wear… so maybe this is what I’m meant to do? Guess we’ll find out lol!
  • My closet is the go-to place for my friends when they need something to wear! I love helping people out when it comes to fashion.

Lauren raves about how The Digital Engine gave her the tools she needed for her digital marketing career:

“My experience using The Digital Engine courseware has greatly expanded my knowledge on digital marketing. I have learned all the necessary planning needed prior to starting a brand and running a campaign. This practicum in our class allowed me to learn how to create and design a website, run an email campaign, strategically use social media, and evaluate analytics.”

On May 7th, Lauren graduated from Belmont University with a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Marketing. She is thankful for the skills that The Digital Engine provided:

“Personally, this practicum in my class has prepared me for the digital marketing world outside of college. I feel prepared to tackle these tasks in a professional field and use my knowledge gained from this courseware to my best ability. With having done this practicum, I have gained meaningful knowledge and connections that I can take with me after I graduate. It has allowed me to pursue my passions as a hobby and grow my social media campaign after this class.”
