This fall 2023 semester, we are going to show you behind the curtain of our Higher Education course here at the Digital Engine. Our courseware is designed to teach students how to manage an inbound marketing campaign from conceptualization to actual lead generation. This is so important in the real world because inbound marketing is your digital messaging testing ground. Just like in traditional marketing where tangible products are launched into test markets, your digital messages should be tested in the same way. As consulting has proven, inbound marketing is the strongest way to increase Marketing ROI.

This semester, we are going to provide weekly updates on where our students are in this process. Each week, we will provide a glimpse into the curriculum to help you visualize where each student is in their campaign launch. It will take us about six weeks to build the digital engine through WordPress, that is, the online mechanism that we will use to launch their inbound marketing campaign. Then after the digital engine is built complete with website, branded social media, email campaign, created and curated content, and goal funnels at the website, then each student will launch a live 8-week campaign of their own.

Over the course of the campaign, we will demonstrate the techniques that students are using, such as content scheduling, blogging, social posts, emails, search engine optimization, keywording, crm database management, and much more. Additionally, we will be sharing examples of campaigns and helping students with referral acquisition. There is so much to show and learn, and we wanted to share all of this as a visual demonstration of what your higher education students could be experiencing in future semesters.

Finally, at the conclusion of the semester, students get to keep their live assets and can even monetize them if they choose. We consistently share student testimonials in our News section of student successes within our Higher Education course. Then, in the last week of class, students are awarded a LinkedIn certification, complete with a digital portfolio and leads to qualifying internships and jobs. All around, it’s a win-win for both you and your students. We hope that you will follow along and enjoy this journey with us as we start our semester-long adventure this week. Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have along the way by contacting us here.
