Google Analytics (with New GA4 Data Streams)

The new GA4 data stream from Google Analytics is the premier analytics platform for tracking website performance. As part of a free range of tools provided by Google, the platform provides you with a full picture of how your site is performing in terms of the audience visiting your site, how they came to your site, what they are doing while they are there, and specifically, how they are responding to your internal goal funnels. By collecting this data and returning it back to you in visual reports, you are better able to process the data and make sound interpretations about what strategic processes are and are not working at your website. Not only does this help you design and deliver better content, but Google Analytics can also help improve mechanical site performance, aid your search engine optimization, and increase lead generation. In the website setup instructions, we will teach you not only how to connect Google Analytics to your website, but how to connect all of your goal funnels to monitor your lead generation performance. This is a platform that you should become very familiar with both in how to read the data but also how to make better strategic decisions from it.

Below are a few screenshots to provide a glimpse of what the new GA4 data stream will provide you. The first screenshot refers to what we label Brand Awareness. The second and third screenshots reflect Brand Acquisition and Brand Retention respectively. Discussion of Google Analytics is spread out throughout the curriculum in Levels 2, 4, and 6.
