Congratulations, you passed the Demo Introductory Assessment. This will be the only assessment that you take in the demo course, just to give you an understanding for what this process looks and feels like to course participants. However, in actual courses, there are assessment quizzes at the end of each level. As always, course participants are required to pass at a level of 90% correct on each assessment; otherwise, they cannot move on to the next level of content. Again, this assessment is not recorded as part of a “grade” in the class, but is required to be passed in an appropriate time period so as to be able to access homework assignments in subsequent content levels. This is the only way that these level assessments could potentially hurt the grade of a secondary or higher education level student, that is by them not having access to assignments at the assigned due dates set by the instructor.
We will now move on to discuss the types of course modules that we have here at The Digital Engine. As your know, this courseware is designed to teach inbound marketing principles through strategic deployment of the assets that help deploy created and curated content to interest consumers. Therefore, our course modules are designed to assist you in understanding the holistic model of inbound marketing, as well as the individual components that make up the system as a whole.
In the next chapter, we will demonstrate the entire set of modules from a 30,000 foot view of the course. We will layout an overview of each of the module levels, then in the subsequent topics within that chapter, we will highlight more specific content and concurrent assignments for each of those levels and chapters. As we have discussed previously, not all courses must have all levels, chapters, and assignments. As a secondary and higher education instructor, you can choose to mix and match which course modules are necessary for your class. As a general guideline, we have provided a course comparison price sheet to help you envision your needs for any given course. As a participant in the continuing education course, you will experience all of these modules (except website purchase instructions if you already deploy your own current website). With our flexible course structure, the value of our learning management system is that you can choose the modules that are valuable to you or your students.
Let’s take a holistic view of our course modules.
