Once the Chapters and Assignments have been completed for the current level, there is a Level Assessment required at the end of each Level to advance and unlock the Chapters and Assignments in the next Level. To unlock the next level, you must score at least 90% on the Level Assessment, which is made up of 10-20 multiple choice questions. Therefore, a score of 9/10 or 18/20 is required to “Level-Up.” If you do not pass, then the Assessment will move you back to the current level content, where you need to re-examine the Chapter information in order to re-take the Assessment. The Assessments are there to help you understand and master the current content before you press into the next level of important information.
We can’t stress this enough: We want you to learn these skills and truly store away the principles for long-term use, and these assessments will help with your long-term memory storage. Yes, you can’t access future class assignments until you pass each level’s assessment, but these questions are not created to trick you. They are created for you to learn the material. So please, use the assessments for their best intentions. Even in this introductory level, we have included a Level Assessment, so that you can get a feel for the type of questions and style of the Assessments, and to help you remember important platform specifics moving forward.
Next, we will discuss the course practicum, which is your semester-long course project where students will run a live inbound marketing campaign on your newly created website for an extended period of time during the semester. NOTE: In most instances, the next section of the demo is intended for higher education instructors only. Typically, secondary education does not have enough weeks in a quarter to use an 8-week practicum needed for a full semester (15-week) course. Likewise, most continuing education participants already have or will be creating a live website. A practicum is not needed in this sense, as the continuing education student is already running a live website for purposes that will extend well beyond an 8-week trial period. If you are in either of these buckets, you may skip the next session if you like.
